Local SEO and website checks for a Las Vegas business
Review your service pages, mobile experience, business information, images and contact routes before spending more to bring visitors to your website.
Explain the service before chasing more traffic
Open your homepage on a phone and read the first screen as a new customer. Can you tell what the business does, who it serves and how to get in touch? A clear service description and an obvious next step are a practical starting point for both discovery and conversion.
For a Las Vegas service business, describe the areas you actually serve. Use the names of services customers understand, and link to pages that explain the scope. Avoid creating near-identical pages for every nearby city just to repeat locations.
Check the search basics on important pages
Give each important page a distinct title and useful summary. Organize the content with a clear main heading and supporting sections. Link related services and helpful articles so people can continue without returning to the menu.
Confirm that public pages are available to search engines and that staging-only noindex settings are removed when the final site launches. An XML sitemap helps search engines discover important URLs, but it is not a guarantee of indexing or better rankings. Check crawl and indexing information in Search Console after launch.
Keep business information accurate
Review the business name, phone number, website and service details across the website and your Google Business Profile. Use truthful categories and descriptions, and keep applicable hours current. Ask customers for honest feedback without scripting what they should say.
Google explains that local results depend on relevance, distance and popularity. A website can clarify what you offer, but it cannot make every searcher equally close to your business. Measure progress over time instead of treating one search on one phone as your permanent ranking.
Make images and mobile pages useful
Choose images that explain the service, show real work or introduce the team. Use descriptive filenames and concise alt text for informative images. Put each image near relevant copy. Do not fill filenames or alternative text with a list of unrelated search terms.
Serve appropriately sized, compressed images and reserve their space so the page does not jump while loading. On mobile, keep the same important content and contact options available as on desktop. Check that text is readable, controls are easy to tap and large media does not delay the main message.
Test the path from interest to inquiry
Tap every phone link, open the contact page and submit a clearly labeled test inquiry. Confirm that someone receives it and knows how to respond. Review broken links, confusing buttons and forms that ask for more information than the first conversation needs.
A website audit is a starting point, not a complete diagnosis. Use the MOFO Website X-Ray for a limited homepage checklist, then review the findings alongside actual inquiries, search data and your business goals. Prioritize the fixes that help a visitor understand, trust and contact you.
